Malone's Liberty Global completes buy of Virgin Media - Denver Business Journal: Liberty Global has completed its $24 billion purchase of Virgin Media, making John Malone's Douglas County-based company the world's largest cable TV business.
Liberty Global in February announced the stock-and-cash deal for London-based Virgin Media, the 4.9 million-subscriber cable arm of Richard Branson's Virgin businesses.
