Are you starting a new job or even taking on a new role with your current organization? If so, you might really benefit from the book titled "The First 90 Days, Updated and Expanded: Proven Strategies for Getting Up to Speed Faster and Smarter" by Michael Watkins. I have not read the updated version, but I did read the original and treated it almost as a daily devotional when I started my management career. To me the book is applicable well beyond the first 90 days, but should be considered a very valuable guide to any job transition.
