The 75-year-old billionaire was in town Friday to break ground on his company's new $230 million campus in Lone Tree, and he spoke highly of the metro area's "wonderful weather," affordability and healthful lifestyles.
“We’ve been in Denver for 35 years,” Schwab said. “It’s hard to believe. I came out here as a young pup … to open up our first Denver branch in 1978. All we could afford was a little loft in downtown Denver.”
