HOSTING Positioned as a Challenger in Gartner Magic Quadrant for Managed Hosting - WSJ.com: DENVER, April 23, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- HOSTING, a leading provider of enterprise-class, managed Cloud hosting services, today announced that Gartner, Inc., the world's leading information technology research and advisory company, has positioned HOSTING as a Challenger in their latest Magic Quadrant for Managed Hosting. The well-respected Gartner report evaluates a company's ability to execute and its completeness of vision.
According to the report, published April 9, 2013, "This Magic Quadrant covers only solutions that include managed services, emphasizing complex implementations that require significant human labor on the part of the service provider, regardless of whether the underlying infrastructure platform comprises physical servers, virtualized servers, cloud IaaS or a hybrid combination."
Gartner's report further states: "The market for managed hosting is evolving rapidly, so it is vital that service providers have a vision for the future needs of customers and for how they will adapt their offerings to meet those needs. The full context of a provider's vision is important, as cloud computing continues to alter the market dramatically. We also evaluate a provider's approach to growing its business, including its strategy for marketing and sales, international expansion, and vertically focused market solutions."
"HOSTING is continually advancing its market position as a strategic business partner in managed Cloud services. We are committed to meeting -- and exceeding -- each customer's needs and to continually improving our offerings. We believe our position in the magic quadrant validates that," said Art Zeile, CEO of HOSTING.
