Rise of the Statistician

I am willing to bet that most of the high school graduating class of 2013 would fail to include statistics as the job of the future.  This is truly a shame because the demand for statisticians, data analysts and data modelers will far outstrip the supply in the coming years.  How do we steer kids towards math and engineering?
